Hey Famliy!!!!
Thank you so much for the email!  It was so good to hear from you guys:)  Here is the big news......................... I got TRANSFERED!  Bye Bye San Pedro and Hello....... Yes, I am back in........................................................... DOWNEY!  haha I am not in the same ward that I started the mission at which was downey 4th ward, but now I am in Downey 1st ward.  I am really excited though because Lakewood zone (which is the zone that I am currently serving in) is known as the promised land in my mission haha.  This is where baptisms flow like milk and honey! I have 2 baptisms coming up in the next  couple of weeks!  It was so awesome the very first lesson that My new comp and I (Elder Hoyt) had, we set a baptismal date for march 25th with this 21 year old girl by the name of Wendy!  And just last night we found this awesome guy by the name of Tony that rescently had a death in the family and is looking for a church!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  BOOOOOO YAAAA BABY!  haha We are excited to meet with him and his wife and two sons on tuesday.  They are a big time soccer family and I am going to be able to connect with them in that way.  The downey 1st ward is super small however.  I counted the attendance at church on sunday and it was stretching to a mighty 55 people!  But Elder Hoyt and I are really excited to work our butts off and get some new families in the ward.  I have been dry on baptisms since June, so I am really hungering them as well.  Another crazy thing, is that the zone that I am now in had some issues with disobedience with the old missionaries that were here, and so our mission president basically flushed the whole zone!  My comp and I are both brand new to the area along with around 15 of the 22 missionaries in the zone!  haha My Mission President dropped 3 zone leaders, 4 or 5 district leaders to come in and clean up the zone and get some work going.  So yes, sadly I am no longer a zone leader:(  This is a sad thing and a happy thing, it will be nice to be able to focus completely on the work and really give my whole heart and soul to the downey 1st ward.  We already have a really strong relationship with the Bishop.  He is awesome!  He has already served as a bishop, he was in the singles ward branch presidency and he served as a stake President councilor for 11 years!  He is very qualifiied for the position of Bishop and it will be nice having someone that will work with us and help us.  At first I was realy kinda bummed to not be serving as a zone leader, but I am begining to realize and see the reasoning behind this large change.  The Lord is in control and I know that this is the right thing to do.  I am officially sleeping ALOT better as well!  I don't have so much to worry about, and I don't have to deal with my companion snoring! hahaha That is one of the hardest things about Elder Loli is that he snored hard core every single night.  I have slept like a wee little baby almost every night in my new area though.  We have already started a missionary movement in the ward.  This last sunday with the permission of the bishop we have started what's called a missionary moment each week.  When the Priesthood meet together at the beginning of 3rd hour and the Relief society meet together by way of volunteer someone volunteers to have a missionary experience that week.  The missionary experience doesn't have to be anything real big like passing out a bom or bringing someone to church, but it could be something really small like talking to your neighbor about the church, or  baking them cookies.  They pray to have a missionary experience that week than at the beginning of the next week the experience is shared with everyone and than another volunteer is asked.  To help remind them of their responsibility to have a missionary experience we give the volunteer a little item to remind them.  For the Priesthood we gave them a little plastic sword (the sword of laban) to remind them and for the relief society we gave them a little shileld (shield of faith).  When I did it in my last area alot of good things started to come from it.  This area has been quite slow baptism wise the past couple of years, but the only way to turn that around is to get the members excited about missionary work.  My goal for this area is to baptize 2 families into the ward before I leave.  I know that is going to be very hard but it is possible.  It is simply going to take ALOT of prayer, faith, and work!  Dad you mentioned that I have 8 months left!!!!!!!  That is absolutely crazy to me.  Everything is going by so fast.  I feel like i have so much to learn still and I hope I can magnify the time that I have left.  Your so right though with the fact that the time I have left will be the best of my mission because of all the experience I have behind me now.  I really hope that I can use that experience to better the area and get some baptisms.  One personal goal I have in this area is to form a very strong relationship with the members and with the missionaries in the zone.  If you guys could send me some tips and helps about ways to develope relationships with others.  I would really like your adivce and anything that you can think of of good ways to develope relationships with other people.  With me being in a brand new zone, new area, new companion, new everything I really want to form that solid foundation.  I really feel like my last 6 months were like the refiners fire of my mission.  That was the testing period for me.  It really would have been so easy to just not work very hard, and give up.  There were so many times that it would have been so nice to just have a nap and chill in the apartment haha, and E. Loli would have been totally down with it!  He was an awesome companion and really chill, but sometimes too chill so it made it so I had to always be on top of things.  I really learned alot and now looking back am really proud of myself for never backing down from working hard in the area, and in the zone as a zone leader.  We didn't see any baptisms, but it wasn't because we weren't working hard.  I really hope that We will be blessed in this area with some baptisms because of that hard work and diligence that I have shown the Lord.  The only thing I can do is continue to work hard every single day and be obedient.  I always remember and think back on one of the last things that you said to me Dad which was, "The key to finding happiness and success on your mission is to be obedient."  I know that is so true and I am trying my best to do so!  Oh another change that I didn't mention is that I am officially 100% bike!  haha I no longer have a car.  President Baker has been known to make drastic changes and this is definately not the exception!  This is about as big of a change as it could be, but I am excited:)  Attitude is the key:)  Mom I Pray for you every single day..... I really know that you are going to start feeling better.  You need to make sure you are giving yourself the attention that you need.  You need to eat right, and do the things throughout the day that will not wear you out too much, than you MUST sleep.  I have found that if I do not sleep, than the next day is going to be a disaster.  Some things that have been helping me rescently is writing in my journal or reading the scriptures before I go to bed.  Also meditation.  The reason that so many people don't sleep well is that they have so many things on their minds as they go to sleep.  Before I left my last area I was talking with this guy who has a PHD in human SLEEP.  He said that we must not have thoughts and feelings stored up in our conscious or subconscious mind if we want to get a good nights sleep.  Also you shouldn't do anything for about 1 hour before you go to sleep that would increase adrenaline in your body.  So no working out, or running around, or getting aroused in any way.  You must resolve all these things at least 1 hour before you plan on going to sleep.  He also said if you have something on your mind right before you lay down, write it down so that your subconscious mind will not dwell on it which would lead to lack of sleep and trouble falling to sleep.  So basically you need to make sure you are relaxed before you go to sleep.  These tips have really helped me rescently, I consciously tell myself I did the best I could that day, and that's the best I can do.  Don't allow yourself to feel sad or angry in any way, this is why prayer and the scriptures help.  These two components will often push out negative thoughts and feelings that we might have.  Anyways I hope these ideas will help you.  Make sure you are drinking at least 3 bottles of water a day as well.  It is really important that you are hydrated.  Hydration is the first step to having a healthy body because our  bodies are made up of 70 + percent of water!  So it is only natural for our physical well being to desire water to push out and replace old cells.  You are probably thinking I have been reading a doctor book or something, I haven't I promise!  haha these are all things that I have just observed and learned over the past 16 months.  Things are going really well though, I really want to gain the love and appreication for all those around me so just another reminder if you guys could send me some tips about relationships with others and how the best way to develope those are.  I really am striving to develope charity.  The mission has taught me that charity is definately one christlike attribute that I could improve on.  I would also love your advice as to how to develope charity and have love for all those around me.  I think I have finally figured out what my skin formula is for my face!  aka what I must do to not have acne and issues with my skin.  Kenny G I don't know if you are having or have had some of the same issues I had when I was your age which was I never quite felt like I was completely on top of my skin on my face, I felt like I could always get it a little bit better.  These are some things that you might want to try to improve that. 1.  HYDRATION!  Drink at least 3 bottles a day every single day!  This will help you to not be so oily which will lead to fewer acne breakouts and issues with zits. 2.  EAT WELL!  Eating well definately plays a factor in the quality of your skin.  Your body is like a big factory, if one of the rooms in the factory isn't working correctly, it affects everything else.  I have been eating alot of oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, chicken, rice, carrots and bananas.  That is pretty much all I eat!  haha and mom's bread of course:) 3. SLEEP!  Sleep is crucial as well.  sleep is where our skin rejuvinates and replaces itself, so if you are not sleeping well than something must change if you want to help your factory:) 4.  SHAVING  I found that If I shave with a razor blade it irritates my skin hard core which leads to alot of acne.  It wasn't until I recieved my electric lazor that I realized that this is such a crucial factor to healthy skin.  5.  DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE!  One of the major causes to acne is us touching our faces.  It is only when we consciously tell ourselves, ok I am not going to touch my face will this desire become a reality.  Every time you think to touch your face think to yourself, how is this going to adversly effect me in the long run.  I often itch my nose with the inside of my shirt rather than my finger. 6. DON'T USE ACNE MEDICATION!  Acne medication has a negative effect on me.  My skin adventually rellizes upon it and it leads to an increase of oil in my face which leads to zits:(
 I thought I would tell you guys these things just to get them written down at least haha.  I hope it will help someone out there because it is very simple.  Thank you for all that you do, I am out of time but I love you guys so much!  Thank you for all that you do mom, I know that you are gonna start feeling better:)

Dearest Handsome Elder Jesse,
I Love You!!!
Well this week has been extremely hard for Lindsey, Shawn and their family as her Father passed away unexpectedly of a massive heart attack at age 49.  Please pray for them and their family as Lindsey really loved her Dad and Shawn was really close to him also.
Today I was given a Bishop's Blessing by Bishop Jones, Daddie and Brother Chamberlain also helped.  The Blessing was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Beautiful and I know that Heavenly Father Loves me and will hear and answer our many prayers for my healing.  I Love our new Bishop as I did Bishop Peterson and felt very Blessed today by Heavenly Father through the great power of the Priesthood.  I know that Heavenly Father Loves each of us dearly and  will help us through our difficulities here on earth if we but have faith and call upon Him.
I know that we need to rejoice for our many blessings, keeping our eyes on our ultimate goal of Celestial glory and Eternal life that will be in a state of perfectness.  You truly motivate me to continue to push forward, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Proud of You and the Amazing Missionary and Wonderful Handsome Son that You are.  Were You transferred this last week?  We are excited to hear.  I am excited to prepare for Conference and remember the dream I had about You when we attended the last Conference.  If You remember I looked over at the door and You were standing there SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO perfect and Handsome.  You told me that You had been allowed to come home for a brief time so You could have Your tooth fixed as Your teeth are perfect.  Right after that You were gone but the entire day I kept seeing You in my minds eye and felt You close to me throughout the Conference talks.

I loved the Hymns that we sang today.  The opening Hymn was on page 284 and I loved verses 4 and 5.
I You Could Hie to Kolob
There is no end to virtue;
There is no end to might;
There is no end to wisdom;

There is no end to light.
There is no end to union;
There is no end to youth;
There is no end to priesthood;
There is no end to truth.

There is no end to glory;
There is no end to love;
There is no end to being;
There is no death above.
There is no end to glory;
There is no end to love;
There is no end to being;
There is no death above.

Our sacrament Hymn was on page 172 In Humility, Our Savior - I loved verse 2.
Fill our hearts with sweet forgiving, Teach us tolerance and love.
Let our prayers find access to Thee in Thy holy courts above.
Then, when we have proven worthy of Thy sacrifice divine,
Lord, let us regain Thy presence; let Thy glory round us shine.

Our closing Hymn was on page 63 Great King of Heaven verse 1.
Great King of heaven, our hearts we raise to Thee in prayer, to Thee in praise.
The vales exult, the hills acclaim, and all Thy works revere Thy name.

In Primary the children are learning the beautiful song Teach Me to Walk in the Light which is also in our Hymn book on page 304, I Love all the verses.
Teach me to walk in the light of his love;
Teach me to pray to my Father above;
Teach me to know of the things that are right;
Teach me, teach me to walk in the light.

Come, little child, and together we'll learn
Of his commandments, that we may return
Home to his presence, to live in his sight-
Always, always to walk in the light.

Father in Heaven, we thank thee this day
For loving guidance to show us the way.
Grateful, we praise thee with songs of delight!
Gladly, gladly we'll walk in the light.

I have had fun this week finding little thoughts for You, I Love You with All my Heart.
We had a really nice Sunday dinner with Dustin, Hillary, Trevy, Libby, Ryan, Meagan, Daddie, Kenny and me, I absolutely loved Kenny's Amazing chocolate dessert as usual.  Tomorrow we have a soccer game here with Parowan that will be fun and then the Carter dinner party at Aunt Jan's.  This Friday we will be going up north to watch Kenny play soccer with Hillcrest and Timpview and we will be staying with Bryce and Shelynne.  I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited and hope to be feeling even better.
Daddie, Kenny and I went to a Youth Fireside tonight at the stake center with the theme being:  Increasing Your Spiritual Strength.  It was a really good meeting and it was fun to be with Kenny and all the Youth.
Well my Darling Daddie is ready for bed, the babies are in bed and Kenny is in bed so I will say goodnight to our Handsome.  I Love You with All my Heart and pray for You continually.
Your are the BEST!!
Amazing in every way.
With all my "sweet" and tender Love,

p.s. I Love You!!!

Jesse,
Did you get transferred?  We have been wondering all week if you were transferred or not and to where you are going if you have been transferred.  I'm sure what ever is going on with you is where you should be.  Last week was another crazy weather week here .  Some days were really quite nice and then the next day its like we were back into the middle of the coldest part of the winter.  It has been hard on our work schedule at the apartments.  This next week looks to be much better and I hope we are able to get a lot more done.  We should have the framing including the trusses done on the 4-plex this week.  We should be able to start the framing on the 8-plex next week.  It is nice to see the buildings coming out of the ground and starting to look like buildings.
Can you believe you are down to just 8 months!!  You will probably have only this transfer and maybe one more.  With all you have learned since the beginning of your mission these last months will be the most effective of your whole mission.  Keep working your hardest and I know that you will be the most successful of your mission.
Love,   Dad

Hey Family!
It was good to hear from you guys this week! Thank you for the email mom:) I always love hearing from you and hearing about all of the things that are going on back home. I was sad that I missed Ryan's birthday. . . . AGAIN! That is weird that I have missed his birthday twice now! I can't believe you had to have another bladder surgery! How come that difficulty you are having isn't getting better? Hopefully this will be the last time that you have to have this surgery. That is scarry to hear that Grandad is in the Hospital. Hopefully he is geting better now. You both will definately be in my prayers. Thank you for the package this week mom! It has been nice to have your bread again:) But now worries, if you aren't able to make it this week, we will survive:) The last thing I want you to do is over do it. . . . like you always do! Dad how is work going? When do you reckon the apartment buildings will be finished? What are some future jobs coming up. . . . that I may be participating in:) haha. The mission is goig too fast. Ever since I became a zone leader, the mission has FLOWN by! Too fast. But I love it because I always feel like I am accomplishing something. Unfortunately the work in my area isn't going very well:( We have a basically less active ward mission leader who doesn't answer our phone calls, or texts and doesn't call us back. We haven't had a correlation meeting in over 2 months! And the Bishop is very busy with his family and work and doesn't have time to talk to us about the work and help us in any way. He has been saying that he would call a new wardmission leader for the past 2 months but nothing has happened. But, we are doing the best that we can. We have been working really hard on a project named mobile area book. This is a area book where we seperated our area into 10 sections and there names are the following. . . . 1. The Shire. 2. Isengard. 3. Gondor. 4. Rivendale. 5. Rohan. 6. Moria. 7. Grey haven. 8. Mounth doom. 9. Mirkwood. 10. Mordor!!!!!!!!
Yes if you didn't catch it, these are names from the one. the only. LORD OF THE RINGS! We thought we would be creative with it and have some fun. So on each of these sections contains each of the the members that live in that area, and the former investigaotrs as well. We are also adding potential investigators as they come to us. If you have an LDS.org account it is really cool cause all you have to do is log on to your account than search for LDS Maps. Click on that than you can browse in depth your ward information and see where everybody lives! You should check it out Dad, it might be useful for the missionary effort in the ward. Anyways, all is well, and even though it is pday e. loli and i still have to type up a training that we are presenting in front of President Baker and all of the zone leaders tomorrow. The assisstants came to our zone and saw our area book and loved it! So we are going to be doing a training on how to effectively plan using a mobile area book. This training will than be taken across the mission! So we are really excited that we are making an impact on the mission. Anyways, all is well, and I am just working hard and trying to enjoy every moment possible regardless of the circumstance or situation. I hope all is well I love you guys:)

Love forever and always, Elder Carter the 5th

Our Dearest Handsome Elder,
I Love You with ALL my Heart.
You are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Amazing in every way.
Today we are celebrating Handsome Ryan's Birthday. Daddie and Kenny have been working really hard today on the Sunday dinner - I have been resting as Thursday I had my 5th bladder surgery. Do not worry as Daddie has been taking perfect care of me and I am in excellent hands with the right Dr. who truly cares about me and the extreme difficulties I have been having. Thank you for Your tender Love and prayers as I have really felt Your Love for me through this time in my life that has been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO challenging. Also Aunt Stacia and Jill Peterson helped with the dinner today for Ryan and Meagan which I appreciate with ALL my Heart. Grandma Mom, Dustin, Hillary, Trevy and Libby also came to celebrate Ryan's "sweet" Birthday. Meagan awakened really early this morning and fixed an amazing breakfast of waffles and the works with a cinnamon roll shaped in a Heart in bed. Ryan and Meagan went to St. George yesterday and ate at the Texas Road house and Meagan gave Ryan a beautiful watch for his Birthday.
Sorry Darling I was typing and listening to everyone talk at the table and accidentally pushed send - so I brought the letter back and I am going to continue to email You.
I Love listending to the pretty music that the radio plays on Sunday, it really helps to bring a "sweet" spirit into our home.
I missed playing for Primary today and seeing the precious little children - they really love to sing and always want to keep singing - Cheryl Savage is the director and she is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good in Primary.

"Whistle while You work."

*Arise and Shine*

Every day is a gift from God - enjoy every moment of every day.

Ryan and Meagan just opened the Birthday present from Daddie, Kenny and I - I found a darling light green blanket with animals on it for their little boy that will be born in May, some money and a shopping day to buy a hoddie for Ryan.
Usually I give the dogs a bath on Sunday but they missed their bath today because I gave them a bath the day before surgery so they would be clean and soft after surgery.
Kenny and I have been making plans for your suprise in November - You truly will be suprised**************************************************************
Right now on the Radio the song: "I Wonder When He Comes Again" is playing - I Love that song - when I was a little girl we would always sing my favorite song "My Heavenly Father Loves Me," "I Wonder When He Comes Again," and "Give Said the Little Stream." We also learned "I Know that My Redeemer LIves" and I would always sing to the top of my Heart.
Well Valentine's Day will soon be here - I Love Valentine's - thinking about love and "dear" family and friends.
Libby just came over with the Snow White globe and wanted to sit on my lap and email you - she is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DarLibby is ling. It's fun to be a Grandma - can You believe that we have 6 Grandchildren now - which will soon be 7.
With our church at 9:00 we have alot more time on Sunday. Today Daddie and I went to Aunt Stacia's ward as Kenny played a very difficult song for the youth in their ward to sing. Kenny played SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO perfect - I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of him. We left after Kenny played so I could rest again but Brock brought us the sacrament which I really appreciated. Kenny is going to play the 2nd Sunday in Ferurary in Grandma Mom's ward.
Libby is starting to talk, it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute to listen to her. Trevy loves to play with his Uncle Kenny.
I hope this week to begin recording my music so I can make a CD with beautiful arrangements of Primary songs.
Dustin is playing the piano right now - I Love piano music - I Love the piano with All my Heart I miss hearing You play - thankgoodness I have Your Beautiful CD's to listen to. Hillary is playing the piano now which is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sweet for me.

in the morning, for in Thee do I trust.
Cause me to know the way wherein I
should walk, for I lift up my soul unto Thee.
Psalm 143:8

Grandma Gaye just called and Grandad is not feeling well, he is in the hospital in St. George, he is really dizzy and was just given a Blessing. Say a prayer for Grandad too that he can get better quickly - right now he is sleeping and has been given alot of medicine to help him.
Trevy is getting SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO big, he loves legos' - our play room is perfect for him - don't worry your amazing things are still standing perfectly.
The birds have been singing today on account of Ryan's Birthday and the sun has been shinning brightly.
Libby loves going up and down our circular stairs, she is just laughing right out loud.
Whenever I am upstairs I plug in our 2 little purple Christmas trees - one is a little purple tree from my friend Emily and the other is our tree from the cabin decorated with little purple birds and purple ribbon.
Libby just threw something down the stairs I thought for a minute she was falling down the stairs.
So how is Our Handsome doing? It sounds like You are working hard. I sent out some music books for You and Your companion and I am putting some "sweet" songs together that I have collected through the years that I will send next week. It was exciting to hear that there is going to be 12 baptisms this month and You and Elder Loli will be doing some musical numbers - I wish I could hear You - Keep up the Good work and wonderful music.
Libby and I just had a girl moment putting on lipstick, lotion, purfume, with the thoughts of sparkle nail polish - she is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Darling.
Becuase I brought back the email for some reason I cannot not spell check so forgive me if there is some mis-spelled words.
Well my Darling I am going to go and rest and then a little bit later I will email You some more.
I do hope to teach music this week - music is very healing and helps me feel like I am talking to Heavenly Father.
I will try to make bread this week - I just have to really rest so I can get better so if I don't make bread I hope You will understand.
I Love You Our Handsome Amaziang Elder who I truly look up too.
Remember every night after your prayers to think of all the Blessings that You were blessed with during the day.
I Love that Daddie and I are reading the scriptures every night and praying about the people that are in active or not members of the church. Grandma Mom is making some CD"s that I am going to take to them when I get better. On February 4th we are going to feed the Missionaries - I picked Saturday so Kenny could help me.
I Love the laughter of a little child, children are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy about little things and are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO forgiving from minute to minute. There is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much that we can learn from little children and their perfect faith and love.

Hi again Darling, it's me again.
I had a lot of fun coloring with Trevy and Libby - it was really fun having the kids over, talking to Trevy and listening to Libby laugh.
Kenny and Daddie just gave us a nice Family night lesson but it is getting late so I will close my Darling.
I Love You with All my Heart.
Have a Beautiful Day knowing how much your Family Loves You!!!
With ALL my "sweet" and tender Love,

Hi Jesse
This is Trevin. I dressed up like a missionary at church today. Then I changed my clothes when I got home. At my birthday party it was an army birthday party. We had a big war with Nerf guns. Then we had an obstacle course with tires, string, under the air hockey table and then we standed up on buckets and raise our hands up. Then we painted our faces. Then we opened presents and I got a two headed light sabre from my friends. I pray for you every night Jesse. I am going to be done now . Bye Bye I miss you.

Hey Family!
It was quite fantastic to hear from you all:)  That is sad that you are taking down the Christmas lights, but I suppose it must be done adventually!  Transfers are next week so I am pretty excited!  I wouldn't mind staying here with E. Loli and staying in San Pedro, but than again I wouldn't mind starting a new adventure in another zone as well.  Mom you asked how the family of 5 is going that we found. . . . well unfortunately they have dropped us:(  They called us right before an appoitnment that we had with them and said that they don't want us to come by again because their kids were beginning to get confused because the things that we were teaching them was different from the teachings they were receiving at catacism. . OF COURSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT, OURS ARE TRUE!!!  It is really sad too, because the spirit was really strong when we were teaching them, and I think after 2 1/2 weeks of not being able to contact them, they forgot the feelings that they received and Satan got to them.  It was really hard, but we know that we did everything that we could so there really wasn't much more we could do for them.  This area has been really really hard.  The Bishop that we have has been in for about 6 years now and he is really tired and not excited about anything.  Everyone in the ward says if they could have seen him 2 or 3 years ago, he is not the same person at all.  Granted he has alot on his plate being a young bishop with 2 kids under 3 or 4. . . but I wish he would at least give us a good ward mission leader.  Our ward mission leader has been out of town for about one and a half months now and we haven't been in much contact with him him my whole time here.  We have tried hard but he is just too busy.  A good ward mission leader really makes a big difference for the work in the area.  Dad how is ward mission leader going??? Does the ward have any investigators coming to church???  That would be pretty awesome if there was a convert baptism, I can't remember there ever being one in our ward when I was home.  Mom now you have me guessing what the surprise is that you and Kenny GGGG are working on for November!!!???  The only thing that comes to mind is, a piano in my room. . . . ?  haha possibly you are hand carving a bow for me to hunt with this next season?  IDK what ever it is I bet it is awesome.  I am really excited to start taking lessons from you again when I get back mom.  I have realized out here that I still have ALOT more to learn, and who better to learn it from than you!!!  I want to have a weekly lesson just like one of your students.  I really wish I could develope my singing voice as well.  I think that would be the coolest thing if I could COMFORTABLY (notice the word comfortably haha:) ) play the piano and sing at the same time.  Mom maybe you could ask Grandma Mom how she developed her voice, and even Shawn.  aka shaq, I think he did some singing with the guitar and you could ask him.  Most people just say sing alot, but there has to be a master trick that makes you instantly Josh Groban status. . . that is what I am looking for haha.  But anyways, everything is going well.  I am loving being a zone leader.  There have been hard times, but I haven't grown as much doing anything else in my life than I have the past 4.5 months being zone leader.  I think being zone leader is the closest thing you can get to being married outside of actually being married haha.  Now dont' think I have gone all crazy and weird on you till you hear me out, I have that belief because it takes so much team work to be a zone leader.  If you don't communicate well, and figure out a plan and a goal TOGETHER than nothing works out.  Also, in a zone leader companionship you are both great leaders, great people's person as well, so you have to find a way to level everything out and make it so you are both happy with how much you are leading and influencing others.  It takes alot of communication and co operation between the two of you.  It is also like you have your children aka your zone members!!!  and your favorite children aka your district leaders in your zone haha.  It really is like we are the parents of the zone though, I really like leading people and managing people.  I think I will have to take that into consideration with my future schooling.  I enjoy visably seeing things get constructed and built along with leading people and helping inspire and motivate them.  There is a really good chance that I am getting transfered, but I am ready for the next adventure!!!

My Dearest Darling Elder,
Well as of this morning Kenny and I are beginning a project that many of the family members are going to help us with as a surprise to you in November. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited.
Yesterday the babies enjoyed a day of smelling good which was really good for especially Libby, I am going to give the babies a bath every Sunday from now on as part of our weekly Sunday's.
Today we are having spaghetti, I basically haven't fixed this dish for our family for 3 months except for the big Christmas Carter party and it was all gone by the time I thought about getting some - there was just enough for everyone thank goodness..  I just washed my hair and my migraine is starting to get better that seems to be my best friend every morning.  I am listening to your CD of Adventures' which is very healing and brings "sweet" thoughts to my mind.  I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad that Moosey and Niki are trained.  Last Friday I started teaching Misty's little girl and Misty couldn't believe how good our house smelled with 2 little dogs, she also loved our Beautiful Christmas decorations and baluster treatment-I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad that our Christmas trees are still up.
So how is Your Family coming?
We pray for You every day several times and are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Proud of You and Your Love for life and people.

Happy New Year to Our Handsome Elder Jesse Guy Carter OXO‏

Our Dearest Handsome Elder,
Well How are You?
Kenny and I just finished recording a Christmas CD for next year - I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!
Grandma Mom, Dustin, Hillary, Trevy, and Libby came for another Amazing Sunday Dinner with Daddies' home-grown garden food, and Kenny's wonderful dessert of pumpkin cake with whipping cream. We played some card games together and Libby found my baby doll that was my favorite doll when I was a little girl. Later we rocked in Daddies big rocking chair with Moosey and Niki and Libby and I fell asleep rocking the baby doll. I was sad when Dustin picked her up out of my arms as they had to go.
My finger is getting better now which I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thankful for. I feel like my piano playing is extremely tender and with even more feeling then before as I am SOOOOOO grateful for every note that I play and think about every little detail as never before. I am going to try and get an SD card this week so I can record.
I'm having fun teaching my students again and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad that we still have both of our Beautiful Christmas trees up - I plan to keep the little purple tree up in our bedroom for aloooooooooooooong time.
Daddie is getting ready for bed so I am going to send this part of the email to You tonight and then I will finish the rest in the morning with ALL my "sweet" Love.
I Love You With All my Heart and know that Heavenly Father is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Proud of You and the Wonderful Amazing Elder that You are.
I will write again tomorrow.
Tenderly with the "sweetest" of Love,

Hey Jesse!
Well I'm finally done recording.... I think with all my Christmas music. So next year we will have a CD to give out. I recorded a total of 27 songs so I will be able to make two CD's. Yesterday Dad and I took down most of the Christmas lights outside. It was quite the project we were not able to finish because a snow storm blew in that interrupted our work. Soccer has officially begun at least conditioning that is. The team really needs to get serious and start working really hard. Many of the Seniors are definitely not doing that and need to step it up! There are many youngins that have started to come to conditioning that I have no idea who they are but who knows maybe they are amazing soccer players!:) Starting a week ago I've began to do some serious working out with Spooky and brenden with this thing called insanity. It's a lot like P-90X. It's very very hard workouts but it will definitely make me stronger and bigger. I'm also taking some protein shakes to help me out also. When you come home hopefully you won't even be able to recognize me:) haha But that's about it I hope all is well with you and I'll talk to you later.
Love, Renka

Jesse,
I just wanted to write a quick note to let you know that I am thinking about you. I know that you don't spend any time thinking about it but we were figuring out that after January you only have about nine months!!!! That is really hard to believe. I know that you are enjoying every minute of your mission.
It has been fun having Kenny record the music that he has been working so hard on. He has some really fun Christmas music recorded. I have been trying to get Momie to record all the Primary music that she has worked on these past years. She will be able to make a very beautiful recording.
It has been fun following the Presidential nomination process. Romney right now appears to have a very good chance of becoming the Republican nominee. If he does become the nominee and then especially if he is elected it will be interesting to see how that would effect the standing of the Church with the people in the country and around the world. I really think that it would make many people become more aware of the Church both for good and bad. But overall I think that it would be a very good thing for the Church.
Well I know Jesse that the Lord is aware of you and all of your hard work.
Love, Dad
