Hey Family!
It was good to hear from yal this week:) Thank you for the email.... Kenny G that stinks that the team is 0-4:( You got to inspire and motivate everyone to do better. Somebody is going to have to step up and lead. Who are your team captains this year? Who are the seniors? Is Kamatchi getting pretty burned out and just letting everything fly? That is so sad, Cedar usually has a pretty good team! So you are gonna have to rejuvinate them for the rest of the season. One thing that I really want to do next season is help coach! I will get back in November than I could help condition the team and get them ready for the upcoming season. You will be a senior and brocker will be a junior! So that would be alot of fun coaching you guys and going with the team. Anyways, I know that you are gonna get the season turned around. That stinks about Mitchy boy:( How did he hurt his ankle? Tell him to put a brace on and get out and play dangit! That's what I did haha. Mom that is awesome about your vision improving! That is so amazing how just the contacts and glasses is doing so much to help you out. I am curious why you didn't get those before now? Are there any other eye surgeries that you are thinking about doing in the near future? That is awesome that you were able to take the personality test! My predictions for you mom are Blue/white. Blue core personality with a white secondary personality color. And for Dad I would guess Red/Blue. Red core with a blue secondary personality. You guys need to read the people's code! It is super good! I have been learning so much about myself and others and am able to communciate so much better with people that we meet on the street and with other missionaries and everyone! KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! haha things are going really well though. We had a baptism on sunday! He was only 9, but it was an awesome baptism of Micky Perez. And listen to this, I sang a solo at the baptism!!!!!!!!!! haha I have really been trying to improve my singing abilities and Elder Hoyt sings really well so we sang the Child's prayer which is broken up into two parts and I sang one of the parts! Than at the end he sang his and I sang mine. It was awesome! It was really cool to sing in front of everyone. I was pretty nervous but lots of people came up to me after and said that it sounded really good. Sorry for the little email this week, I have got to roll out and get some stuff done. I love you guys, I hope you have an amazing week!
Love, Elder Carter

Dearest Handsome Elder Jesse,
I Love You my Darling with All my Heart.

Well this week was Meagan's baby shower, she is a darling little Mother to be on May 15th.

This week I will go to the college and see about your scholarship and information that I can send to you for registering.

Spring is in the air, Daddie has started pruning all our trees for the up coming blossoms.

Kenny had a soccer game on Friday with Desert Hills and was absolutely Amazing as usual, our team really did play good even if Desert Hills won 2-0. We have to really watch Kenny and be careful with him after hard physical exertion to keep his stomach under control until we can see the specialist the end of May.

I am excited about General Conference this next weekend but am sad to say that we don't have tickets this time so we can see Bryce and Shelynne.

At night I read the scriptures with Kenny and right now we are reading in Psalms that I just Love.

I have been getting use to my new special hard/soft contacts - now in order to see up close I wear glasses which is a 1st for me. (they are purple) At Kenny's soccer game I have never had SOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun as I could see him perfectly including the long distance moves that were unbelievable. I can see the computer with new eyes and with some more refraction will soon see music notes as never before. Each day I am getting better and better for the new me plus I am going to be starting on Your surprise this week.

Sacrament Meeting*
Opening song - Lord, Accept Our True Devotion - page 107 - verses 1,2,3

Lord, accept our true devotion. Let Thy Spirit whisper peace.
Swell our hearts with fond emotion, and our joy in Thee increase.
Never leave us, never leave us. Help us, Lord, to win the race.
Never leave us, never leave us. Help us, Lord, to win the race.

Help us all to do Thy biding, and our daily wants supply.
Give Thy Holy Spirit's guiding till we reach the goal on high.
Ever guard us, ever guard us, Till we gain the victory.
Ever guard us, ever guard us, till we gain the victory.

May we, with the future dawning, day by day from sin be free.
That on resurrection morning we may rise at peace with Thee.
Ever praising, ever praising, throughout all eternity;
Ever praising, ever praising, throughout all eternity.

Sacrament Hymn - O God, the Eternal Father - page 175 - verses 2,3

That sacred holy offering, by man least understood,
To have our sins remitted and take his flesh and blood.
That we may ever witness the suffering of Thy Son,
And always have His Spirit to make our hearts as one.

When Jesus, the Anointed, Descended from above
And gave himself a ransom to win our souls with love-
With no apparent beauty, that man should Him desire-
He was the promised Savior, to purify with fire.

Arise and Stand Forth that Thy Light may be a Standard for the Nation -

Strength is gained by being tested - we become refined and defined -

Live by Example -

Closing Song - Jesus Savior Pilot Me - page 104 verses 1,2,3

Jesus, Savior, pilot me over life's tempestuous sea;
Unknown waves before me roll, Hiding rock and treachrous shoal.
Chart and compass came from Thee: Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

As a mother stills her child, Thou canst hush the ocean wild;
Boistrous waves obey Thy will when Thou say'st to them, "Be still!"
Wondrous Sovreign of the sea, Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

When at last I near the shore, and the fearful breakers roar
Twixt me and the peaceful rest, then, while leaning on Thy breast,
May I hear Thee say to me, "Fear not: I will pilot thee."

Kenny was accepted into the Governor's Honors Academy - We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Proud of him

We received a letter from the Military Relations Representatives of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lackland AFB, TX with a picture of Shawn which Lindsey received also. The Missionaries were able to meet with Shawn at the Base Chapel were he has been attending the Church services on base. In the letter they asked that the Lord would guide and protect him during this time. It was stated that it is heartwarming to see sons and daughter courageously step forward to help preserve our freedom and way of life. We were told to be proud of the part that we played in the molding of Shawn's character as courage and patriotism do not come automatically; they are planted in the hearts of children by their parents. Gratitude was expressed to us for our selfless service on his behalf.
We were told that they have a deep abiding interest in Shawn's welfare and want to ensure the blessings of Church membership as available wherever he is stationed.
We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Very Very Proud of Shawn and Lindsey too and all that they both are going through right now. I just talked to Lindsey and Shawn is having a hernia operation tomorrow and needs all of our faith and prayers on his behalf as this last week has been really ruff. Shawn is truly Amazing and I know that Heavenly Father will Bless him and Lindsey and the children too.

Today in church I saw Sister Marva Esplin and the thought came to me when Kenny was just a little boy and would sit on Marva's lap when I would play the piano. Kenny told her that he wasn't going to sing that "BOO" song one more time*

I Love the Priesthood and the Blessings that come from the Priesthood daily in my life and our Family.

Today in Primary we sang a fun song that I remember singing as a child.
Our Primary Colors page 258

Our Primary colors are one, two three-
Red, yellow, and blue.
Each one has a message for you and me.
each is a symbol true!
Red is for courage to do what is right,
Yellow for service from morning till night.
Blue is for truth in our thought and our deed.
We will be happy when this is our creed.

We also sang "Give" said the little Stream page 236 (I loved this song as a child)

"Give," said the little stream, "Give, oh! give, give, oh! give,"
"Give," said the little stream, As it hurried down the hill'
"I'm small, I know, but wherever I go the fields grow greener still."
Singing, singing all the day, "Give away, oh! give away,"
Singing, singing all the day, "Give, oh! give away."

"Give," said the little rain, "Give, oh! give, give, oh! give,"
"Give," said the little rain, As it fell upon the flowers;
"I'll raise their drooping heads again," As it fell upon the flowers.
Singing, singing all the day, "Give away, oh! give away."
Singing, singing all the day, "Give, oh! give away."

Give, then, as Jesus gives, Give, oh! give, give, oh! give,
Give, then, as Jesus gives; there is something all can give.
Do as the streams and blossoms do: For God and others live.
Singing, singing all the day, "Give away, oh! give away."
Singing, singing all the day, "Give, oh! give away."

Kenny just made me some hot chocolate and cut me a piece of his chocolate from the chocolate store.

You are not going to believe this - one of our babies has started going to the bathroom on the kitchen floor again, and even the refrigerator - honestly -

A Cheerful Heart is a messenger of happiness*

Sending All my Love to You*

Hope...
Those who hope in the Lord will receive their strength.

Great is Thy Faithfulness*

Well with this time change it stays light a lot longer - when I went to the Barnes to return their Hymn book with fingerings they had some beautiful little yellow daffodils coming up.

So how is Your new area coming?

It was fun to take the color test for You, Daddie and me and without question You are Yellow - fun loving and HAPPY MAN!!! (Lucky You)

I have started recording. The 1st song I recorded was my favorite song, "My Heavenly Father Loves Me." The next song I am going to record is "A Child's Prayer," both in solo form.

I pray for You Always and feel Your prayers for me and the family.

We went to the Hunger Games last night.

I guess I will go and have Daddie rub my back for a minute and then I will be back.
Hi Darling I am back - Daddie has fallen asleep for the night.
I will send this with a prayer in my Heart for You, Shawn, Lindsey and all of us.
I Love You with all my Heart.
With all my "sweet" and tender Love,
Mama Mee OXO

p.s. The very 1st picture that was on my camera was Trevy's 5th Birthday and because I labeled the pictures all of the pictures were labeled as such.

Hey Jesse!!
I hope everything is going well with you. Sorry I haven't emailed for so long but I just want to get you updated again:) Soccer is going by way way fast. We have already had 4 region games. We're not doing the greatest though. So far we have lost all of our games besides Parawon. We even lost to Canyon view!! It is very sad. Our team is struggling with working together. Nobody trusts anyone else and if somebody does something wrong they yell at them. At practice some of the guys just act hurt so they don't have to do anything. It's really bad. The only one that is hurt for real is Mitch and he wasn't able to play last game because of his ankle and achilles tendon. I hope that before the season ends everyone can get along and work hard. I do have some good news though. I got accepted to Governor's Honors Academy!!! I am way excited. It gives me a 4 year scholarship to SUU and six college credits and I'll be able to learn some life-long lessons. It's at the same time as our ward trek, but since I have already gone on a trek I think it will be okay and plus I can't pass up on this amazing experience. I asked Savannah Web to prom!:) It is going to be in 3 weeks. Sav and I have planned this occasion for our entire lives haha so it's going to be a blast. Right now she is actually in Ukraine seeing Emma but she will be back a week before Prom. Well that is about everything but keep up the good work and I'll talk to you later.

Love, Kenny G
